Internet Safety

The Library offers a free information session on Internet Safety. This session is designed for parents and guardians who want a better understanding of what their children are surfing or could be surfing online. When possible, we conduct this session with a member of the RCMP. To see when the next session will be held, please check our Events Calendar regularly.

The workshop covers:

  • Safe and unsafe internet sites
  • General signs of unsafe internet surfing
  • Software programs to protect your child
  • Reliable resources to inform you and your child

The workshop includes:

  • Integrated Child Exploitation presentation by RCMP officer, if possible
  • Personal Copies of information
  • Beverages

 

Computers - Private Instruction

The library offers private tutoring to anyone who is interested in basic to intermediate computer instruction. For additional information or to register for private instruction, please call at the library at 645-4904 or email us.
 

Summer Reading Program

Everyone summer, the Library hosts the summer reading program. The program has wrapped up for 2009, but 2010's theme has already been announced: Destination Jungel. Keep an eye one our website in the spring of 2010 for more information!
 

Story Time with Mary-Grace

Are you ready to R-E-A-D? I hope so, because I'm ready to read with you!

Join Mary-Grace every Friday from 11:30 am - 12:00 am for storytelling, songs, and maybe a few surprises! So stop by the library and see what fun new treats and tricks Mary-Grace may have up her sleeve. This program is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
