New Hiring - Winter Reading Program Coordinator

St. Paul Municipal Library is looking for someone to run our Winter Reading Program this year.

Reporting to the library manager and program coordinator, the winter reading program coordinator will promote, plan, and run Winter Reading Program.

Hours: 35 Hours/week
Wage: $16.00/ hour
Length of assignment: 
2020-12-01 to 2021-03-12 (15 weeks)

Duties include:
- Planning, organizing, and facilitating the Winter Reading Program for children ages 4-17.
- Organizing online activities, stories, games, songs, crafts, displays and promoting a love of reading with the children.
- Working with program coordinator to play library programs

Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and exemplary organizational skills, and adaptability are needed.
- Need to be able to work with technology
- Need to be able to speak fluent English and basic French
- Experience working with children is an asset.

The as per YCW grant guidelines, candidate needs to meet the following eligibility criterion:
-        Be between the ages of 16 and 30 at the start of the work term
-        Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada. 
-        Be a student and intend to return to full-time studies in September.
